We hope everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable Christmas and New Year period! Like many others, we are back and fully into the swing of 2022 with numerous jobs keeping the team busy. We decided once again to capture how we achieve the results that we do and the different methods that are undertaken.
In the video below, you see the process for a one-piece mailer - these are commonly used for postal drops, which gives all the info to the recipient and a tear off sheet to fill out, as well as a return envelope all in one!
In the video you see the machine applying the perforation to the tear-off section of the mailer, before applying permanent glue to other areas of the document to create the 'pocket' for the perforated sheet to fit neatly in to. Once that is done, remoist glue is added to form the 'lick and stick' part of the envelope - all in one swift process. Using our technology in our factory here in Small Dole, we are able to produce these at a rate of 8000 per hour, so you can be sure that we have the capacity to provide for your project and have the knowledge and skill to turn it into a reality.
